Aaron "Fingers" Kivell (born February 17, 1983 in New Plymouth, New Zealand) is the bass player for the band The Boardy Boyz.

Aaron joined a band called The Usual Suspects in 1999 with the intention of performing lead vocals, but with the lack of a bass player Aaron thought he would take it up as well.

He loved the bass so much that he gave up the vocals position to play bass.

With no musical training he quickly picked up the basics and taught himself, spending most of his free time, sometimes up to 11 hours a day, practicing.

For a year he played with Christian heavy rockers Delivered, but after the departure of their lead singer, the core musicians formed the heavy metal band Gravelstone. Aaron stayed with Gravelstone for a further two years, but left to join up with local surf band The Boardy Boyz.

Aaron's current setup is-

Squier P-Bass Special 5 bass guitar, Crate BT-350 bass head, Peavey custom bass bin with twin 15" Selenium speakers
