Thurman Munson Stadium

Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium is a stadium in Canton, Ohio. It is primarily used for baseball and was the home of Canton Coyotes. Before that, it was the home of the Canton-Akron Indians (now known as the Akron Aeros). Both the Canton-Akron Indians and Akron Aeros serve(d) as the double-A minor-league affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. The ballpark has a capacity of 5,700 people (as of 1996) and opened in 1989. The facility is named after former major league baseball player Thurman Munson.
