Thundercat

For the motorcycle, see Yamaha YZF600R

The Thundercat is a snowmobile produced by Arctic Cat in the 1990s. In its time it was considered one of (if not, the) fastest sleds available. This is partially due to its big-bore case-reed triple cylinder engine available in 900 or 1000 cc's. The Thunder Cat has since been replaced by the ZR900. The new F-1000 then replaced the ZR900 and is still running strong today with the all new twin-spar chassis. The Thundercat can still run with many of the fastest snowmobiles available currently. It has a great deal of speed, and it WILL compete - and probably beat the Ski-Doo Mach Z 1000 or the Yamaha Apex/Attak 1000 4-stroke.
