Thunderbird Restaurant
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Thunderbird is located on 2323 West Chester Pike in Broomall, Pennsylvania, opened in 1956 by Sam Greco and named after a motel while traveling in Nevada.[1] The most popular foods there are their "Pizza, steaks, and hoagies" (displayed proudly on the sign), and more recently hot wings. Another, less successful Thunderbird is located on Eagle & Darby Roads in Havertown, Pennsylvania. Over the corse of history, however, there have been three other Thunderbirds restaurants, all located in the Philadelphia area, but are not in business anymore.
