[edit] Brett Skinner
Props to you for making that article. I'm a big Skinner fan, but I'm shocked that 99% of Canucks fans have no idea who he is. Nonis messed up letting him slip away.
[edit] chembox
Hi, thank you for your edit to sodium fluoroacetate. Including a chembox is always a good thing on a chemical compound, it nicely cleans up the article text and concentrates the data in a box, easy to find.
Since a short time we have the template {{chembox new}}, which is a completely transcluded and only shows the data that is provided. Some people in the chemicals wikiproject now use that template, and there are suggestions to move from the {{chembox}} to {{chembox new}}. May I ask you to have a look at the template, and to include that when adding a chembox? Hope to hear more, happy edting, see you around! --Dirk Beetstra T C 09:10, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Darren Reid
I question whether there is a footballer named Darren Reid. The website listed as an external link makes no mention of a Darren Reid.
Looking at the IP address of the individual who keeps switching the article from the hockey player to the supposed footballer, IP user 82.41.70.172 changed it from the hockey player on January 24th and IP user 82.41.68.97 did the same on November 24, 2006.
Is it possible that a fan of the Hibernian football club is adding himself and pretending he is on the team? I must plead ignorance as to the nature of european football, but are players really drafted at 11 years of age? This seems fishy to me. --207.69.138.143 04:34, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Canucks Template
Thanks for the explanation. Even after 2 years on Wikipedia I still learn new things about how to do stuff. Kaiser matias 08:22, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Acacia nilotica
Wonderful to click a diff on my watchlist and see someone actually seriously building the encyclopaedia. Good on ya, mate! (Ignore this message and get back to work) Hesperian 23:47, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Acacia koaia
Do you have a reference for the medicinal use of koaiʻa? The recipe given sounds kind of odd given that the other two plants, while they do have uses, are recent introductions. Also, what is the source for koaiʻa on Oʻahu? According to the Manual of Flowering Plants of Hawaiʻi, it was never recorded from Oʻahu and the populations on Kauaʻi are intermediate with A. koa. - Okay, I added Oʻahu to the distribution; the ones on Kauaʻi can't be unambiguously called koaiʻa, so I took that off. To be honest, I'm a little skeptical of the NTBG's information when they use names like "Oahu False Ohelo" for Wikstroemia oahuensis. I also tweaked the medicinal section to avoid copyright issues.
