Throne Records is an independent record label of extreme metal settled in Gijón, Asturias (España). It was created in 2002 by Uge, after the dissolution of its previous hardcore/punk label Don´t Belong. Throne Records is specialized in varieties of extreme metal : grindcore, crustcore, sludge, doom, stoner, hardcore Or punk.

Throne Records has always shown a special interest in vinyl. It has published LP editions of many previously only available disks in cd, and at present works with licenses, to publish albums of bands as High on Fire, Cathedral, Hermano or Alabama Thunderpussy. The designs of the folders are specially cared for, and normally of each LP has a small thrown in coliured vinyl for collectors.

Besides an underground label, Throne Records is a distributor of disks.

[edit] Throne Fest

In 2005 he was organized in Avilés (Asturias) an event known as Throne Fest, that included groups of the Throne team. Initially it was going to celebrated in November, in a single day and with High on Fire as heads of placard. Sadly, the band fell of the placard and the festival were to be celebrated in December, in two consecutive days. December 2 they acted Orion, Submerge and MG-15, being fallen the French Monarch of the placard. On Saturday 3 of December they touched Looking For Go Answer, Moho, Possession and Machetazo.
