Threemilestone

Threemilestone is a small village in the civil parish of Kenwyn, located precisely three miles west of Truro, the only city in Cornwall.
Between Truro and Threemilestone there is a continuous line of schools, colleges and industrial estates, including Truro College and the newly built Richard Lander School, a mere two minute walk from the centre of Threemilestone. In Threemilestone itself there is a central area of shops, including SPAR, a butcher, bakery, fish & chip shop, chemist, doctors' surgery, laundrette, hair salon, Post Office, community centre, public house, church and Vauxhall car garage.

Threemilestone, has grown in recent years. With newly developed housing estates to the west. The primary school is one of the main feader schools to Richard Lander. As a Village it is ideal for the young family as within walking distance are all teh educational requirments from 5-18 with the primary school, Richard Lander and Truro College so close by. However, these developments have created a double edged sword with increased traffic in the area.
