From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The ancient inhabitants of what is now Bulgaria, the Thracians were skilful craftsmen as their predecessors. They made beautifully ornated golden and silver objects such as plates, rhytons, masks, chaplets and others. During various barbarian or Roman attacks they used to bury them in the ground.
