But this is specifically a topic where citable references are not very applicable. I mean, how likely is it that Jésus in cell block 6 is going to publish his homies' interpretation of the three dots??? I suggest removing the "unreferenced" notice. I heard that If you have the three dots in a triangle in between you thumb and pointer finger that you are a "stoner" but is it realy true?E-mail me at selective_hearing_101@yahoo.com so I can under satnd the real meaning...
I have noticed that allot of street signs around here have this symbol o
o o
usually in the lower portion of the sign always very low key almost hidden. I live in suburban Detroit(livonia) "My crazy life" freemasons hobo signs really don't seem logical of an explaination. WHAT DOES IT MEAN??????
Well... It's also a mark from sweden which stands for "Faith, hope and love" so infact it can mean a lot depending on what country it was tattooed in. For example, in india, it was called "Three little monkeys" and it means "See no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil". And in U.S.A with all those gangsters destroying the good within old markings named it "My Crazy life" Which means.... nothing... so in U.S, it's just a stupid marking to show "Heay I'm cool". So yea, it can mean allmost anything, but though these markings can be placed in different parts of the body also depending in what country it was made.

I am correcting the text to clarify the multiple meanings of the dots. Please dont hesitate to correct the correction if you see fit. --The Singularity 23:45, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Old Sailor mark
This is an old sailor's tattoo, having been used since at least the latter half of the 19th century. The latino/vietnamese gang use is a modern adoptation. What the three dots represent is disputed - even among old sailors. Some had a system where you "earned" them in various ways - either by having crossed three oceans, having served below. on deck and topsail, or even having missed the boat three times. More likely is that it started out as a trinity symbol, and one that was easy enough to tattoo oneself with. Anyhow, the article gives the wrong impression by disregarding historic use. 65.75.16.254 06:30, 15 February 2006 (UTC) __________________________________________________________________
In the midwest, Wichita Kansas, the 3 dot tattoo means "mi vida loca" or "my crazy life". It can also be placed on various parts of the body. User:68.102.46.142 23:49, 14 July 2006
