[edit] Fair Use?
As there seems to be no discussion here yet there is a notice stating that the image may be removed, I propose that it go under the character artwork license. --StarkRG 05:59, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- To be safer (that tag could end up disputed as well), I am retagging this with the general fair-use tag; along with what articles it's for. Bobak 17:07, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
- My 2c, IANAL. Definitely fair use on Grand Admiral Thrawn, because it is a picture of him, and defnitely fair use on Chiss, as it is a picture of the race. Chimaera (Star Wars) is where I would disagree. The link to Thrawn is right there if one wants to see what he looks like. One way to look at it would be to thing "Gee, if fair use images have to be kept to an absolute minimum, which one(s) should stay and which one(s) should go?" Anyone, even a non SW fan, would keep Image:Imperial sd.jpg, instead of this one. With all the teeth gnashing and arm waving about copyright going on, it would probably be better to figure this out first. "See, there were two, but it was discussed and now there is only one fair use image. These aren't the copyright violations you are looking for. Move along." :) — MrDolomite | Talk 23:29, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
