I only just realised that you have yet to receive a formal welcome, so I thought I'd rectify that oversight. I'm sure you've already seen a few of the links I've given above, but they're here just in case. Keep up the good work! --Deathphoenix ʕ 18:34, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, I'm glad you noticed that. Thomasiscool 22:35, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your RfA
Good evening (GMT time); I'd just like to say I'm sorry about the outcome of your RfA, which unfortuantly did not succeed. This happens to lots of users each day - they become quite fond of Wikipedia, and all of a sudden decide their ready for the mop and bucket. Your not the first, and you most certainly won't be the last.
My advice is to get involved in some anti-vandalism patrol - be on the lookout for vandalism in recent changes; perhaps you could join the Welcoming Committee which aims to welcome all of the new users Wikipedia receives each minute. Finally, get yourself over to XfD Debates, and try to get involved there: 5/6 posts each day should suffice.
In general, remember that administratorship *isn't a big deal* (to quote our founder); it's simply a few extra tools that we get if we need them, lose if we abuse them and give up if we don't need them. It's not an extra show, and there are plenty of users out there who are not admins (for example - I'm not), and a lot of them are decent, honest and upstanding. So just forget about sysopship, adminship or whatever you want to call it - if you deserve it, you will get it.
If ever you have any problems or want a chat, don't hesitate to jump over to my talk page where I'll happily answer your questions.
Kind regards,

- Thanks, I'll try to get involved in that. Maybe I'll try another RfA sometime, once I've done some of that and my edit count has gone up. Thanks again, Thomasiscool 23:31, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Alex Mitchell
An editor has nominated Alex Mitchell, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alex Mitchell and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it.
