Those Websters

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Those Websters was a CBS Radio comedy series starring Willard Waterman and Constance Crowder as the heads of a Chicago family. It was a continuation of a 1941-45 series, That Brewster Boy, which starred a teenaged Dick York, who would later star on the television series, Bewitched. Originally broadcast from Chicago, Those Websters moved production to CBS in Hollywood in 1946. The cast also included Fran Allison and Clarence Hartzell. The series ran for two years. In 1950 Waterman replaced Harold Peary as the title character in The Great Gildersleeve.
