Thorstein Treholt

Thorstein Treholt (1911-1993) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He served as a representative from Oppland in the Norwegian Parliament in the years 1969-1973. He was state secretary to the Minister of Agriculture 1954-1955 and 1955-1957, then Minister of Agriculture 1971-1972 and 1973-1976. Treholt was the father of convicted Norwegian spy Arne Treholt.
