Thoroughbred Grand Prix

Thoroughbred Grand Prix (TGP for short) is a race series that was started in 1994. It is FIA sanctioned and is the pinnacle of historic motorsport. TGP features Formula 1 cars used from 1966 to 1985.

The series is very popular among drivers with over 40 registered to be members of the TGP drivers association. The series is quite widely publicised with championship rounds being beamed into over 200 million households around the world. Sky Sports, MotorsTV, Speed Vision, TajTV and Raceworld are just some of the channels broadcasting TGP into people's homes.

Some of the most popular cars used by drivers are the Williams FW08, numerous Tyrrell models and Lotuses.
