Thornbury is a town in Ontario, Canada.

Thornbury is part of the amalgamated Town of the Blue Mountains, an historic small town in rural southwestern Ontario nestled at the foot of the province's largest all-season resort, Blue Mountain. It is located on the shores of Georgian Bay about 22 km west of Collingwood and about 15 km east of Meaford.

It is a small but growing community of about 2,000 people that offers a small-town atmosphere through quaint shops, a revitalized marina and waterfront, and some spectacular scenery with some of the best fishing in Ontario.

Thornbury is also home to the architecturally unique L.E. Shore Memorial Library, named after the fouding partner of the architectural practice of Shore Tilbe Irwin + Partners, and designed by the firm.
