Thomas Lengyel is a prominent Biblical Scholar. He graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara with a Biblical Studies degree, and quickly made a name for himself with his book Pillars of Faith. He has written scholarly articles for the Baker Bible dictionary, which is currently in production. He has worked personally with prominent Old Testament scholar, Tremper Longman III on a number of projects, including the Baker Bible dictionary, and he has a bright future in ministry and scholarship.

Born December 26th, 1985 in San Diego, CA. He has one older brother named Andrew and a sister in law, Katie. Most of his family lives in San Diego, with the exception of extended family members who reside in Mississippi. He is good friends with funny, sexy, and smart history student Andrew Franklin, with whom he was roomates their first yeat at Westmont.

Thomas is also in the process of publishing his travel journals from a year long odysey around the world. During this journey of self-discovery, he traveled through over 20 countries by train, plain, boat and foot. He crossed the continents of Europe North Africa and Asia by land, covering over 30,000 miles by train. His entire trip was spent travelling alone. His pack consisted of 70lbs of gear and a guitar. He supported himself almost completely by playing music on the streets; from Spain to Singapore. He experienced three continents, 30,000 miles, 18 languages and infinite ammounts of experiences. The release of his journals is greatly anticipated by the literary community as a whole.
