Thomas Winniffe
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Thomas Winniffe, Bishop of Lincoln 1642-1654 had been dean successively of Gloucester and London, was expelled from his see during the English Civil War, and retired to Lamborne in Essex; of which place, says Fuller, he had been for some time the "painful minister." He died there in 1654, and was buried in the parish church.
