Thomas Tigue

Thomas Tigue is a former Pennsylvania State Representative in the 118th District which covers parts of Luzerne and Monroe counties. Tigue served from 1981 to 2006. He is married and has 4 daughters and several grandchildren. He is father-in-law to retired pitcher Andy Ashby

Tigue received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from King's College, Pennsylvania in 1968.

In late 2005, Tigue announced that he would retire from office at the end of his term. He endorsed Democrat Mike Carroll, who won the election to succeed him..
