Thomas Nelson (supercentenarian)

Thomas D. Nelson, Sr. (July 8, 1895 - January 9, 2007) was, at age 111, the oldest living man in the USA and the second-oldest in the world from December 7, 2006 (the passing of Moses Hardy) for one month until his death.

He had been living in Port Arthur, Texas since the early 1930s. He opened a candy shop in the mid-1930s, and worked there for more than 60 years.
