Thomas Morgenstern also known as "Morgi" (born 30 October 1986 in Spittal an der Drau) is an Austrian ski jumper.

He is one of the biggest natural ski jumping talents in Austria. At the 2002-3 Four Hills Tournament, he made his ski jumping debut. During this season he finished 9th in Oberstdorf, 25th in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, 9th in Innsbruck and 6th in Bischofshofen. Five days after the end of the tournament, he won his first World Cup jump, in Liberec, Czech Republic.

He continued his success well into the 2003-4 season. He was second overall to Sigurd Pettersen during most of the Four Hills tournament, finally ending up in fourth place.

Morgenstern has three gold medals in the team competitions at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, sweeping both hill events in 2005 (normal and large) and winning the large hill event in 2007. He finally won his first individual medal at the championships when he earned a bronze in the individual normal hill in 2007.

During the 2006 Winter Olympics, he won the gold medals in the individual and team large hill competitions.
