Thomas Mikal Ford

Thomas Mikal Ford (born June 15, 1962 in Yonkers, New York, he's also known/credited as Tommy Ford) is an American actor who is best known for his character Tommy in the sitcom, Martin. Most of the time, Tommy was the straight man for Martin Lawrence's jokes, often inserting logic and witty comments in odd situations.
He has done uncanny impersonations of stereotypical African-American preachers in the series as well. He was also portrayed as unemployeed in the often recurring line coined by Martin: You ain't got no job!

Ford also appeared in the final season of New York Undercover (1998) as Lieutenant Malcolm Barker replacing Patti D'Arbanville Quinn as Lieutenant Virginia Cooper after the death of Eddie Torres and Macnamara.He has had recurring roles on the sitcoms, A Different World as Julisa's (Dawnn Lewis) ex-husband, and The Parkers, as Nikki Parker's (Mo'Nique) ex-husband. He currently serves as the "Pope of Comedy" on Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes? on TV One.
