Thomas J. O'Brien of Chicago was a U.S. Representative from Illinois, 1933-39, 1943-64. He was a Democrat.
The T.J. O’Brien Locks on Lake Michigan in Chicago at the head of the Illinois Waterway are named after Congressman O’Brien.
