Thomas Eastoe Abbott

Thomas Eastoe Abbott (1786/7 – February 18, 1854) was an English poet, born in East Dereham, Norfolk. He lived in Darlington, where he worked at the Royal Free Grammar School. Among his published works were Peace, a Lyric Poem (1814); Resignation (1817); The Triumph of Christianity (1819); and The Soldier's Friend (1828). Abbott died in Darlington in 1854.
