Thomas Brassey, 2nd Earl Brassey

Thomas Allnutt Brassey, 2nd Earl Brassey TD MInstNA AMICE (7 March 1863–12 November 1919) was a British peer and soldier.
He was the son of Thomas Brassey, later 1st Earl Brassey and was educated at Eton and Balliol College, Oxford. On 28 February 1889, he married Lady Idina Mary Nevill, a daughter of the 1st Marquess of Abergavenny.
In 1900, he fought in the Second Boer War and was Mayor of Bexhill-on-Sea in 1909; active in promoting a renewed Imperial Federation League; succeeded to his father's title in 1918. He died childless in 1919, was buried in Catsfield and his titles became extinct.
