Reynolds was not a major figure in the Civil War, but arguably he was the most influential Missourian other than Sterling Price in the politics of CSA Missouri. I have included information that probably should be included in related articles (i.e. Missouri Secession, Sterling Price, Thomas Hart Benton, Claiborn Fox Jackson etc.) but hasn't yet. I hope to participate in expanding the related articles and at that point it may be appropriate to trim this article. Tom 16:28, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
