It was Natalie Cole's debut single in 1975 and one of her biggest hits, becoming a #1 R&B and #6 Pop smash in the U.S., reaching the U.K. Top 40, and winning Cole a Grammy for best female R&B vocal performance, a category that had previously been dominated by Aretha Franklin.
