"This Time I Know It's for Real" is a song originally recorded by American rhythm and blues singer Donna Summer and written by Donna Summer, Matt Aitken, Mike Stock and Pete Waterman.

Summer recorded the song for her thirteenth studio album, Another Place and Time. It was a major hit in both the U.S. (#7, Billboard Hot 100), and the U.K. (#3, Top 75 singles[1]) during 1989. The video was directed by Dee Trattmann. The song was certified Gold in the United States.

In 2004, British singer Kelly Llorenna reached number 14 on the UK singles chart with her version of the song.[1]

"This Time I Know It's for Real" was later covered by Australian girl group Young Divas and was released to coincide with nation wide tour dates from July to August. The song debuted in the Australian singles chart at #7 on May 15, 2006. It spent a total of fourteen weeks in the top 10 and was certified platinum. It also peaked at number one on the Australasian singles chart for eleven weeks. The song became the six highest selling single in Australia in 2006.
