This Runs Through is a Christian melodic metalcore band from Tampa, Florida. They formed in April of 2002. The band released a 5-song EP on Indianola Records before signing to the Christian hardcore label Facedown Records. The band split up before they released their full-length CD, but two of the later songs that they recorded for the CD, "Writing Books And Changing Lives" and "Drowning Insecurities," can be found on Facedown Records samplers.
This Runs Through's claim to fame is that their lead vocalist Spencer Chamberlain is now the lead vocalist of the Christian/post-hardcore/metalcore band Underøath. Tyson Shipman and Phil Chamberlain joined the band Sullivan after the breakup of This Runs Through.
