Different Class (1995) |
This Is Hardcore (1998) |
We Love Life (2001) |
This Is Hardcore is an album by British alternative rock band Pulp, first released in March 1998 (see 1998 in music). It came three years after their breakthrough album, Different Class, and was eagerly anticipated. It did not live up to the commercial success of the previous album, despite reaching number one in the charts. Nevertheless, the album was well received critically, and earned Pulp a third successive nomination for the 1998 Mercury Prize. A "deluxe edition" of This Is Hardcore was released on 11 September 2006. It contained a second disc of B-sides, demos and rarities.
