Thirteen Tiered Pagoda

The Thirteen Tiered Pagoda is a pagoda, a tiered tower with multiple eaves common Asia, that is found at the Pagoda Restaurant in Honolulu, Hawaii. Although it is not a tower, it is shaped like a pagoda and has religious significance. The description board in front of it reads:
This handcarved stone pagoda is of Buddhist origin. It was designed by Hakudo Inouye of Kyoto, Japan. The carved section at the bases depicts Buddha meditating and each of the 13 tiers above him represents one of his disciples.
