Think Tank Forums (TTF) is both discussion board software and the software's flagship website, thinktankforums.com. TTF aims to create forum software with fast and clean code that utilizes an intuitive layout and complies with W3C standards. TTF currently uses PHP 4 and MySQL 4, however the project is slated to transition to Ruby on Rails and MySQL 5 with version 3.0. TTF has been in development since February 28, 2004[1]. The forums on thinktankforums.com went live with open registration on September 3, 2005[2].
The software is currently under beta testing and code review. As the finishing features are added and a comprehensive code audit is completed, version 1.0 will be released with a BSD License. The project's code is available on the web on its Google Code project page. In addition, the code may be checked out from the Google Code Subversion server.
