Thierry Dusautoir

Thierry Dusautoir (born 18 November 1981 in France) is a French rugby union footballer. His usual position is flanker. He currently plays for Toulouse in the Top 14 club competition in France. He has played for France.

Dusautoir's first club was Bègles-Bordeaux. He subsequently moved to the US Colomiers, and later signed with Biarritz, his current club.. He played in the final of the 2005-06 Heineken Cup at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, which was lost to Irish team Munster. Although the Heineken Cup final was lost, Biarritz made it to the final of the 2005-06 Top 14, where they met Stade Toulousain. Biarritz won. Dusautoir was called up into the French squad for tests during June against Romania and the Springboks.

He made his debut for France in a test against Romania on June 17 at Cotroceni Stadium in Bucharest, Romania, where France defeated the Romanians 62 points to 14. Dusautoir scored a try on debut as well. He also played in the subsequent match against the Springboks at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town which was also a victory for France. He left Biarritz and signed for Toulouse in 2006.
