Talk:Third from the Sun

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

      • No explanation is given as to how a planet could be ' 11 million miles away '. Even the closest approach to Earth from Mars is 34M miles (2003), and asteroids are even further away, between Mars & Jupiter. ***

They're from a different planet, they're miles are different from ours. Is that so hard?

Yeah, except it would have been just as easy for the writers to say "25 trillion miles" or some other more realistic number... It's hard to think of a justification for why they would choose "11 million" over that.
