Talk:Third Derby ministry
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I've discussed this before, but I put a fairly great deal of work in the original cabinet lists into figuring out who was replacing who, and all that, and I don't really like the way the new lists like this one just list the whole ministry straight out. If some way could be found to separate out changes in the ministry from the initial ministry list, so that changes could be referred to as such, I think that would be better. john k 00:28, 20 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- I confess that the original format was clearer than this (I imagine this particular table is even more opaque if one doesn't know the history of the 1867 Reform Bill). Let me reorganize some. Mackensen (talk) 01:17, 20 Jan 2005 (UTC)
There were lots of "The"s around, so I assumed that full titles were wanted (unlike on the lists in the PMs' articles), but now I'm not so sure that's what was intended. What's the standard practice on these pages? Proteus (Talk) 20:17, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)
