Talk:Third-worldism

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The problems i have with this article: 1. does not stress the negation of class struggle inherent in "third-worldism", the denial of an international proletariat. etc. (This is not to say that workers in the third world faces the same conditions as workers in the imperialist countries.) 2. the article implies that support for the DPRK, for example, by which is usually meant support the right to self-determination in the face of imperialist aggression is the same as lauding that country as an example to follow.

the defenition of third-worldism that i am familiar with is the support for revolutionary struggles and movements abroad whilst supporting reformist forces (with an uncritical attitude towards the labour bureaucracy, etc) at home, or completely ignoring the domestic class struggle.
