[edit] Luther Jackson Middle School

Thank you for your recent contribution of this article. As an editor of a school article, you may be interested in the Wiki-Project for Schools, which provides helpful advice on creating school articles, including a standard structure for them. While it's not expected that every article will be 100% complete on its first draft, and other editors are happy to assist; certain information, like a link to a school's website, are generally essential in order for others to be able to verify information and find more information about the school to add to the article. --Rob 21:50, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] CNN News Anchor Articles

Hi. I'm concerned about a number of articles you have contributed on CNN news anchors. I am going to tag these articles as possible copywrite violations in accordance with WP:CP, since the text is taken entirely from the CNN website. I think if you paraphrase the information, it will be OK. But I want to tag the articles in order to bring them to the attention of other editors so that they can be fixed in case you don't get this message. Benanhalt 07:17, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Star Wars collaboration

Image:Star Wars Tie-Fighter-Vaders.jpg You showed support for the Star Wars Collaboration of the week.
This week List of Star Wars races was selected to be improved to featured article status. We hope you can contribute.

[edit] disambig pages

On disambig pages, only the actual article is supposed to be linked per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages). I recognize that many disambig pages don't conform to that, but that is the standard. On West High School, linking the cities makes it pretty hard to distiniguish the individual links since they are right next to each other. I have switched it back to the previous version since that's easier to read and in accordance with the standard. Also, the Salt Lake City school district was already listed at the bottom of the page and doesn't need to be added a second time. Especially do not pipe links to the target article (i.e. use the [[display name|real name]] syntax) - disambig's are always supposed to show the real article title. Thanks. -- JLaTondre 21:28, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] If you're interested...

I noticed that you have been doing lots of work making sure that lists of companies and high schools have a minimum of coverage. You may want to check out the Missing encyclopedic articles project which has many lists that you might be interested in, including a list of companies and high schools. If you have any questions feel free to ask. --Reflex Reaction (talk)• 14:09, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your impersonators.

Was about to finish reporting your impersonators, but an admin just nailed them. Best of luck editing. Kevin_b_er 01:59, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

Just stopping by to let you know that I've indefinitely blocked both of the following user accounts as impersonators of yours: User:ThepangeIianpost, and User:Thepanjelianpost. If you have any other more problems in the future with impersonation accounts, feel free to post on WP:AIV again. Cheers! --PeruvianLlama(spit) 02:03, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD Nomination: Bored.com

I've nominated the article Bored.com for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Bored.com satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bored.com. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Bored.com during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. --Wine Guy Talk 08:24, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rockwell International

Please use the move function, instead of copy-and-paste, when renaming a page. This avoids splitting the page history in several places. Night Gyr (talk/Oy) 19:03, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Abbreville HS.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Abbreville HS.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

[edit] Survivor logos

I would if I get a good picture of it and after CSB.com open the official Survivor site and I don't want to use logos from fansites since they only photoshopped the S14logo.--HW-Barnstar PLS 06:30, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mosby Woods Elementary School

I have proposed this article for deletion via the articles for deletion process; please use the link at the top of the article if you would like to join the discussion. Brianyoumans 05:47, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

  • I have also proposed a batch of middle school articles for deletion, some of which you originated; see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rachel Carson Middle School. --Brianyoumans 06:20, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
    • I have asked for a review of the closure of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rachel Carson Middle School. You can find a link to the review discussion at the top of the articles. Brianyoumans 15:08, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
      • After looking at the Schools to Watch site, I think I agree with you. I hadn't realized the designation was as exclusive as it is. If you would like to treat this as meeting the "challenge" I issued in the Deletion Review discussion, I would be happy to spend some time working on something you would like improved. And I won't include Rachel Carson or Franklin (which is also a STW) in any future AFD. --Brianyoumans 18:52, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Survivor: Fiji trivia

Do you have a source for the trivia that you added [1]? Also, your second bullet point was confusing it was unclear what revelation you are referring to. -- Gogo Dodo 04:44, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Re your message: Sorry, I guess I'm being a little dense on what the "revelation" is. Can you explain it to me again? Do you mean the previous episode recap narrated by Jeff or the part they are looking for water? -- Gogo Dodo 05:19, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Re your message: Ah, okay. I didn't remember that wasn't shown in episode one. The rewording is clear now. Thanks. =) -- Gogo Dodo 05:29, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
