Unfortunately, the edits you made to Belcourt Castle do not conform to the Neutral Point of View policy of Wikipedia, and have been reverted. Wikipedia is not a place to spout off opinions in articles. To talk to me, post on User talk:Supadawg. Please take some time to explore the links above. Thanks. supadawg 14:49, 12 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Yes, Alva Belmont made important changes, but what you posted was strongly biased. Please read Wikipedia:Neutral Point of View, as well as the links I posted above. supadawg 15:40, 12 Aug 2004 (UTC)
I believe the objection was to certain adjectives. We tend to use very bland language here, unless relating someone else's opinion, as we try not to take sides when there's disagreement. We would not say someone "came from shabby gentility", because that would be our judgment, but rather that "her brother-in-law thought she came from shabby gentility", Nor that "the Belmonts were an unhappy couple", but that "according to X, the Belmonts were an unhappy couple".... etc. - Nunh-huh 16:10, 12 Aug 2004 (UTC)
