[edit] Masturbation

Hey, sorry if I did this wrong, I'm kind of new to this. Well, here's where I got the etymology from - http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/masturbation.

[edit] Pando

Thanks for commenting on the Pando (Quaking Aspen) article. We are currently trying to have it achieve featured article status. Any input on its peer review would be helpful. Thank you again. Globeism 16:19, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks!

thanks for the welcome. :)

[edit] Image Tagging for Image:University of Hertfordshire achievement of arms.png

Thanks for uploading Image:University of Hertfordshire achievement of arms.png. However, the copyright tag you've used is deprecated or obsolete, and should not be used. This could be because the tag is inaccurate or misleading, or because it does not adequately specify the copyright status of the image. [edit] Me

I notice you made a page about me. Do I know who you are? --Thomas Bushnell

[edit] John Mason Neale

Thanks for the pic you uploaded, I am still trying to figure out just how to put pics into articles. I put the Anglican stuff in because he merits it. I am working for the Wiki-Project:Anglicanism and am trying to improve articles on our Church, especially historic figures like Neale.

[edit] Suffragan Bishops Act 1534

I'm not sure what the answer is for Perth in this article. If it is left either unlinked or pointing to the disambiguation page someone will try to "fix" it like I did. Perhaps some kind of note would be best? Ttwaring 12:20, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] TfD nomination of Template:Scotland infobox

Template:Scotland infobox has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. --Durin 18:20, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Anarchist symbolism

I'm sorry, I misinterpreted the usage of the word. I believed it was being used in a derogatory way.

[edit] In passing

Nice piccy on your user page - just thought I'd say! Regards --Nigel (Talk) 15:37, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Quick comment

Adding the link to Stereotypy (psychiatry) to Asperger syndrome was a very good idea. Not sure why I didn't think of it. PurplePlatypus 20:09, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to WikiProject LGBT studies!

Hi, The Wednesday Island, welcome to WikiProject LGBT Studies!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles of interest to the LGBT community. Some points that may be helpful:

  • Our main aim is to help improve LGBT-related articles, so if someone asks for help with an article, please try your hardest to help them if you are able.
  • Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
  • The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as article quality assessment, peer review and a project-wide article collaboration, all of which you are welcome to take part in. We also have a unique program to improve our lower quality articles, Jumpaclass, so please consider signing up there.
  • If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to our translation section, to help us improve our foreign LGBT topics.
  • If you're planning to stay, have a square in our quilt! You can put anything you want in it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome!

[edit] Query about trolling

I have a question about trolling, and I'd like to know what I should do to abide by policy. User 85.167.110.193 aka 85.167.118.130 is repeatedly adding insulting comments to Talk:Asperger_syndrome about people with this condition. They are not addressing how the article can be improved; they seem only intent on arousing anger within the other contributors, many of whom have the condition themselves. Is this vandalism which should be reported? Should I be reverting it? Please advise. The Wednesday Island 20:18, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Yes. It is definitely trolling. You can always report behavior at WP:ANI or vandalism at WP:AIV. IrishGuy talk 22:35, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
