[edit] ipod

Whoaa... I am assuming good faith that your redirects of ipod and it's talk were well meant, but it would create TONS of double redirects, see the What Links Here on it. This is also a rather large article, watched by many editors, even it's inability to start with an i instead of I is quoted in documentations. xaosflux Talk/CVU 05:58, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

  • I'm working on the double redirects now. Well I know that the problem has been documented, so now I've found a solution ;) --The Land of Smeg 06:00, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
Personally I'm not too attached to the article, just caught it on Recent Changes Patrol, you may want to propose this move on it's talk page first, to ensure there is a consensus and avoid an edit war with other editors. xaosflux Talk/CVU 06:02, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
I was just following directions in meta:Help:Renaming (moving) a page , by the way, Apple iMac already has the same conventions that I'm using --The Land of Smeg 06:04, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
Again, personally I don't care one way or the other on this article, and certainly will NOT get in to an edit/revert war with you over it. It look's like moving it to apple ipod has been done 2x already, but it is still where it is now; just trying to give some hepful advice as you are a new account, although you act like you've been here for a while, but didn't want you to get frustrated if others start an edit war over it. xaosflux Talk/CVU 06:24, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

Please read about how to move a page before attempting it.. cut and paste moves are very bad for Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:How to rename (move) a page. If you feel that iPod should be moved to Apple iPod, you should propose the page move at WP:RM. Rhobite 07:22, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Telstra Pre-Paid Plus

Hi there. I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Telstra Pre-Paid Plus, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Telstra Pre-Paid Plus. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --Scott Davis Talk 06:30, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Impalement

Er, no it's not. Impalement is a human form of punishment that involves running someone through a sharpened stave. Slac speak up! 08:10, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Nevertheless the above is still the primary implication - there's nothing inaccurate about "pierced", after all. Slac speak up! 00:16, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
