[edit] American Wrestling Federation

I see that you've been aggressively creating articles relating to the American Wrestling Federation. This is good! Be bold! However, I'd like to make a suggestion:

I think you may be approaching crufty overkill for an organization that was so shortlived. Before creating all these small articles and a category to contain them in, why don't you start by making the primary article as comprehensive as possible? Then, when the material begins to reach a point of considerable mass, then consider breaking it down into multiple articles. Creating an article to contain the records of two or three championship matches is probably not necessary.

Thanks, and happy editing! Tom Lillis 04:07, 1 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Guns N' Roses

Hi! Please don't save several times, press "preview" and keep making changes. This is to help everybody keep better track of their watchlists and to avoid clogging the "history" page with multiple entries by the same user.

Other than that, good going!!!!

I only reverted one change of yours. I believe the rest of the edits are very good! What are you talking about? Sebastian Kessel Talk 16:58, 14 December 2005 (UTC)

Regarding Guns N' Roses. It is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history.Image:Weather rain.pngSoothingR 17:33, 26 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] YTMND

Regarding YTMND. I would appreciate if you looked at the talk page before making changes. The site WAS dDoS'd, and you did further edits making a revert difficult. Please try to consolidate your edits. Tokakeke 18:26, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Clevelandhillauditorium.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Clevelandhillauditorium.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. [edit] Image Tagging Image:Axl1992concert.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Axl1992concert.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] GN'R Logo

I noticed someone uploaded a new logo for the new tour. However, I haven't been able to find that same logo in any other GNR related site. It's possible that that logo is only fan art and should therefore be removed. I was wandering if you could find any info on that logo! thanx!<<Coburn_Pharr>> 12:05, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

It seems to be official - the official websites for all festivals hosting Guns N' Roses this summer are using it. TheNewMinistry 14:25, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Axlrosemugshot.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

[edit] Ole Beich

If we are going to add this guy Ole Beich as an official ex member of GN'R lets bring a source. He is not mentioned anywhere I ahve looked. He's not in VH1's behind the music, nor any photo of Hollywood Rose or any earlier incarnation of the band. If you find a source, bring it and then we can add so that there are no doubts left.<<Coburn_Pharr>> 05:55, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

Ole Beich can be found in any book that documents the origins of the band. It's common knowledge among studious fans, but an obscure name to the VH1 crowd. --Zig 15:34, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hendrix article length & TOC

The TOC is a bit long, but I don't see how it could be substantially shortened without removing a lot of relevant material from the article. If you can see how some sections might be combined, then knock yourself out, as they say. ==ILike2BeAnonymous 18:59, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Thats not it. TheNewMinistry is attacking the Jimi Hendrix article because he/she/it does not agree with my changes to the Guns N' Roses article. Instead of spawning a discussion or striving for compromise, TheNewMinistry has resorted to revert-wars, sarcasm, and inflammatory comments. I have Talk:Guns N' Roses and Talk:Jimi Hendrix on my watchlist. If there is intelligent discussion there I will join it. If not, then TheNewMinistry can enjoy clapping with one hand, as this is the last time I will feed this troll. Good day. --Zig 20:16, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Guns N' Roses

TheNewMinistry, please stop changing back "are" to "is" on the Guns N' Roses article. You know, "are" is correct because the name sounds like the band is talking about more than one gun and more than one rose. But, you have to stop changing it back. If you don't stop, I have no choice but to report you for vandalism. Just stop, OK. 64.142.89.105 00:20, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] STOP!

This is not a joke, TheNewMinistry. Please stay the fuck away from the Guns N' Roses article. I thought I told you to stop changing "Guns N' Roses are" back to "Guns N' Roses is" and you're not stopping. Please read my last message on talk and hopefully there will have no hard feelings realize that you were wrong. I could report you for vandalism if you don't stop. Don't you just hate me, TheNewMinistry? Sorry, but you have to stop. 64.142.89.105 19:59, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tazz and ECW

Tazz is Smackdown's color commentator, he's just wrestling at One Night Stand

I guess you didn't watch SmackDown! tonight then. Tazz told Cole he's going home, back to ECW. Heyman finished the show with Cole. --JFred 02:05, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Joe Mesi

Thanks for your updates to the Joe Mesi page. Since I'm not a real boxing fan, I was wondering if you could give your source for his WBC ranking. It would be good to have it right there on the page, making future edits of his ranking easier. Thanks! --Skudrafan1 05:11, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Nevermind, I did it myself. For some reason, I thought it was going to be hard. :) --Skudrafan1 05:21, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:C9d14f1112.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:C9d14f1112.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

[edit] GNR and israeli pop culture

Shalom friend,

I think u have to understand the huge impact GNR had on iraeli pop cultural scene. Per capita, there were estimated to be more GNR fanatics than anywhere else in the world. I think to have one tiny paragraph about this is ok.

There's no source that says "Israel has more GNR fanatics than anywhere in the world". I'm glad your people like GNR, but that has nothing to do with the band's history. TheNewMinistry 03:25, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cable in the Classroom

Hi TheNewMinistry. Thanks for adding content to Wikipedia. In your recently created article, Cable in the Classroom, you unfortunately don't make any mention of why this group is notable. Unfortunately, unless information is added, the article may be nominated for deletion. Thanks, and happy editing! --Alan Au 01:57, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pro Wresting Xplosion

What was your reason for removing the PROD from this? TJ Spyke 20:27, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

You are also supposed to give a reason when you remove it, removing a PROD with no explanation does not help the articles chance of surviving a AFD. TJ Spyke 20:34, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
I've nominated other NN indy wrestling feds for deletion in the past, and you can to if you see them. BTW, removing a AFD tag is considered vandalism, and you have no excuse because the tag even says "but do not remove this tag". You can discuss it on the deletion discussion page. TJ Spyke 20:39, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Miracle

Please do not use Wikipedia as a place to manufacture news. If the Romo incident becomes known as the Emerald City Miracle, then we have an article about it. Chicken Wing 07:44, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

ESPN is a news network, but Wikipedia is not. I just did a Yahoo! News search for Emerald City Miracle and there were no hits. The nickname for this event is unverifiable and not notable. To create a Wikipedia article by that name at this point in time could potentially influence the naming of the event, which would be inappropriate. I also have to ask you to use a calmer tone. Chicken Wing 08:03, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 2007 WSX television ratings

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article 2007 WSX television ratings, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria.
