[edit] 4Kids Entertainment
Thanks for all your work in editing the 4Kids article. It's much appreciated, since it seems to attract a lot of POV comments and vandalism. --Haemo 01:29, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- Some say that 4Kids Entertainment is run by demon-mouth aliens from beyond the moon.[citation needed] --Haemo 01:35, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Sorry to bother you, but I've been dealing with a couple of problems regarding this page, and have already run up again the WP:3RR. I was wondering if you could keep an eye on it for a while, or give me some tips to dealing with the problem in another way (I'm still new to this whole thing). Thanks! --Haemo 02:40, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

FYI: Our anonymous friend who has been editing Anime South articles has an account on the AnimeCons.com forums. The IPs match up. http://forums.animecons.com/showuser.php?uid/60/ --PatrickD 16:16, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Sneaky way to get me to register on your forums, Patrick. ;) Though I've been meaning to register for the last few days anyways. --TheFarix (Talk) 16:36, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

- I noticed that he had added himself to the list of main contributors. I was wondering if you'd be okay if I add myself. I frequently read (and from time to time participate) in the ACML, and I do keep tabs on a number of conventions. :: Colin Keigher (Talk) 02:06, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
I have taken the dispute with our friend to WP:ANI if you're interested. :: Colin Keigher (Talk) 19:21, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- I think its time to also bring this to ACML as an example of how not to behave on Wikipedia. --Farix (Talk) 22:31, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

- It has been posted, but nobody seems to care. --PatrickD 02:31, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
I think it is time for a different course of action. I believe we should go through some sort of dispute resolution process. Thoughts? I think we're above this user in terms of intelligence and maturity. :: Colin Keigher (Talk) 20:42, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- That sounds appropriate. I am still nursing a wrist, but if you start something, I'll gladly put my two cents worth in. :: Colin Keigher (Talk) 20:49, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Daigacon fix
Whoops... yeah sorry, I didn't completely understand that notability page before. I'd just seen so many other pages like that I assumed (which isn't always good)... thanks for the fixes though —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Millermz (talk • contribs) 02:57, 10 January 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Early Earth Federation mobile suits in the Gundam universe
Thanks for fixing that mo'fo trainwreck of an article. I'm not very skilled at Gundam :P ~ Flameviper Who's a Peach? 00:56, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- It still needs heavy editing and cleanup, but at least the stats aren't blowing it out of proportions. --Farix (Talk) 00:59, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ah sorry
I've yet to get the notionation for deletation thingy right. I always get confused as to which of the article deletes I should be using... Its not as simple as it looks. Angel Emfrbl 10:03, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah I didn't need the speech but never mind. I was just saying that its not simple. Though I must say it - one article was put up for deletation... Yet you went around and tagged a dozen others??? It seems somewhat unfair how that was done. Yeah some you were right in tagging, they really should have been tagged a while ago. But you've tagged a few articles others didn't want tagged. I'm not going to go onto more about that, only some folks aren't happy about it. Its too overwhelming how you've just tagged so many articles so soon. Angel Emfrbl 13:23, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Many Dream Journeys of Meme
Hi, I saw you put clean up tag on The Many Dream Journeys of Meme. May I know why? Is my english a problem or insufficient datas? Cheers. --BokicaK 06:03, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- I hoped that someone from english or french (cartoon was very popular there) wikipedia would expand articl, 'cause Serbian national television aired about 30 epizodes in early '90s. Cartoon was primary educational, main character Meme (or something like that) was telling stories about some of major scientific discoveries like phone, railway, steam engine, photography, theories of evolution and relativity, nature of light... Show also contained few futuristic and SF episodes which "predicted" (the cartoon is from early 1980s) things like internet, video-call, etc. In the other season episodes were about modern science and technology: oil, gold, plastic, ceramic, atoms... This is all I know, all additional sources I found were on french, russian or italian.
- My biggest concern was\is my english, 'cause I'm lacking expirience in writing and speaking on english. Anyway, thanks. --BokicaK 16:10, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Otafest
Fair enough. It occurred to me after the edit that they don't even list numbers. I'll bug one of the executives who lives not too far away from me to get him to present their numbers on their site. :: Colin Keigher (Talk) 22:23, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Kiba-Zed.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Kiba-Zed.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Tomo-Dachi
Hi, I saw your comment on the Tomo-Dachi second deletion page Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tomo-Dachi (2) and wanted to ask what exactly constitutes a 'reliable third-party source'. I have references back to the conventions website and forums, the University of Ulster’s website and respected 'www.animecon.com' website.
In the context of this convention what would be considered a reliable third party source for from what I see other conventions don’t seem to have any which doesn’t make it easy to work out. [I.e., Otakon] Butch-cassidy 14:47, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
-
- So a third party newspaper such as the Belfast telegraph, Daily Ireland, etc doing their own articles on the convention would qualify? I shall get them scanned and uploaded tonight. Thanks for the info. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Butch-cassidy (talk • contribs) 09:33, 6 February 2007 (UTC).

- I have added a link to the Belfast Telegraths 'Manga from heaven' article. Butch-cassidy 10:58, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Mate I have been adding further sources to the Tomo-Dachi page and would appreciate it if you could point out what other info needs to be confirmed by sourcing to be able to remove that needing references box at the top of the page. ^^ Thanks. Butch-cassidy 12:19, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Burger King Deletion
I figured I'd repeat my question here, if I'm not making the proper argument for overturning the deletion, exactly how should I make it? I believe the Admin was wrong. Not that I disagree wrong, but wrong in the sense that they didn't observe the facts of the situation correctly. Is this really not something that can be reviewed? That an Admin's mistake is final and absolute? That is neither fair nor proper process. As I see it, the Admin in this case was mistaken, and I also believe you are mistaken, because you are focusing overly on arguments that may be flawed, but ignoring the valid ones. If you truly do believe it was proper to delete this article, please try to convince me of that, but do me the courtesy of not making your arguments by throwing links to various essays around. That won't work. Or if you're just not interested, do nothing and leave the situation alone. Mister.Manticore 21:42, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Again, I am sorry if I've offended you, perhaps I was overly blunt or snippish, but to be honest, I am troubled by your comments. All you've done is complain that I'm not following policy or procedure with regards to my objections, and instead of telling me a better way, you just throw a bunch of links to further essays at me. That is not very persuasive, or helpful, in fact, it feels rather hostile. I asked what I did wrong, how I could have done it better. You haven't suggested anything. Now I will explain to you how you could have persuaded me better. You could have pointed out where I was mistaken in my comments, or you could have explained how I could have worded my objections properly. You could also have avoided throwing links to a bunch of essays at me. It is possible that some comments on the AFD were of that nature. That doesn't mean other comments weren't, and in fact, the number of comments that say one thing or another is not a factor, as AFDs are not votes. So it doesn't matter if some arguments were bad, that doesn't mean you ignore the good arguments. And since you haven't addressed the facts of any of the comments I made, like this article being sourced, or the same information remaining on Wikipedia anyway, I'd say you are doing just that. I'd say you're just complaining that I'm not doing things the way you want. And I consider that trouble waiting to happen. Mister.Manticore 23:32, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Dear editor, please see Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2007 February 6, where I nominated a redirect created by you for deletion. Your input is appreciated. Regards, --Cpt. Morgan (Reinoutr) 15:00, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Yu-Gi-Oh! GX media and release information
I have reverted your edits. The Yugioh GX pages use the English names first, followed by the Japanese names. Drake Clawfang 01:31, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- I don't see how {{Japanese episode list}} conflicts with that. --Farix (Talk) 01:34, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
-
- Ah, forgive me. The way the Differences were shown, it appeared the English names had been removed entirely, something the Yugioh pages are prone to have happen. The new format is much neater than before. Thank you. Drake Clawfang 01:41, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Newtype December 2006 Toshimichi Otsuki interview
Hi. There's an interview with Toshimichi Otsuki related to the new Evangelion movies in (December 2006) Newtype USA 5 (12). Could you check the title of the interview (or the title of the feature if it's part of a feature) and which pages it is on? No rush here, the RahXephon article is moving slowly these days. --GunnarRene 17:36, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fighting anime
Hi Farix,
I feel unconfortable about deleting Fighting anime, an article whose deletion you proposed. There are over 36,000 google hits. This does not establish notability of the term at all, but it's definately not a complete neologism. I'd suggest you nominate it for AfD, if you believe the article should be deleted anyway.
Happy Editing

[edit] Another Anime Convention
During the AfD discussion for Another Anime Convention you had asked to see reliable independent sources proving that Another Anime Convention is the largest/only anime convention in the state. I have provided them for you. Please see the article. Thank you. Kopf1988 15:59, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Farix, I would like to invite you to take another look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Another Anime Convention (2nd nomination). I had presented that Another Anime Convention is the biggest anime convention in New Hampshire, but before much discussion had taken place the deletion was closed. I understand that you requested verification of that statement, and I did my best to provide it. I hope to point out that verifiability and not verification is required for Wikipedia. Any user can search Google for Anime Conventions in New Hampshire, and they will find no current ones (especially none larger than Another Anime Convention). Would you like to voice your opinion, for or against, at the deletion review? It would be appreciated. Kopf1988 00:56, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
