Ram Disk - I know these have been around to replace hard drives. Screw that. Boost my Ram! Think about it! You have your CPU cache. You have you Ram. Why not another layer before virtual memory? A Ram Layer 2. It'll use some fast fast storage, but cheaper then Ram, and be used as extended memory. Think about it! With your 4 gigs of memory in your mobo, and say, 32 more in a Ram Disk, you will be flying through any game. I only worry about flash memory, because that fails eventually...
