User:The Thadman/RfA Criteria

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thank you for taking the time to read this. :-) I feel that any editor should be willing to improve, but I personally wish to take this to the next step: I would like to hear the thoughts of all of the editors that voted oppose or neutral in my RfA.

If you could create a new section with your username as the heading and put a set of bullet-listed criteria that you would like to see me obtain before giving the RfA board another try along with a note at the bottom explaining your reasons I would be much appreciative!

Thanks,

[edit] Your Signature

I would suggest that, in a future RfA, you not change your signature to advertise it. -- tariqabjotu 13:53, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User:GIen's $0.02: Just a teeny bit more time

Hi Steve, this page is a great idea and speaks volumes for your maturity. My Reluctant oppose was only because at time of posting (I haven't checked since) you had 1700 edits, and even though you've been registered since June 05, over half of the 1700 edits had only been made after early July, only a month or so beforehand. I know I learned a shipload more about policy, almost exponentially as I continued editing until perhaps my 3 or 4th thousand edit, as there's no match for experience when it comes to the more, say, touchy policy issues. I would have no hesitation in perhaps, say 6-8 weeks supporting you, in fact I would be the first to nominate you. I hope this helps, and please keep up the fantastic work. :) - Glen 21:00, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
