The Source is an internet forum. It began as an off-shoot of the Wizards of the Coast (WotC) forums. Many members of WotC, who were irritated by what they viewed as over-moderation by the WizOs (the moderators of WotC), decided that they needed an environment that was more laid-back then a corporate forum could offer. It was started in January 2005 by the prominent WotC members PariahKing (PK) and The Computer Mutt (TCM).
It was originally based upon the idea of Starcraft and Spam, however, the Starcraft theme quickly dissapeered when compared to the massive amounts of spam. It also occasionally plays Mafia, however the games haven't been succsessful, due to the less intelligent nature of the memberbase.

TCM: As the technical leader of The Source, and the one who pays for the web hosting and the licence of vBulletin that is used, TCM has the most control over the fourms. He is known for his dedication to the Source, and his constant updating of it. He spends much of his time trying to improve the forums by creating "hacks" or plugins for the software, however, he never completes a modification without bringing the entire site down at least once in the process.
PariahKing: PK is the one who first came up with the idea for The Source. Originally it was an invisionfree board called Tolerant Chicken, before PK partnered with TCM. He is the one who does the most in terms of organising the community. PK has been known to be absent for long periods of time, but has returned each time, often without warning. He very recently has returned.

Fonzy: A regular 20 something, Fonzy is regarded as wise and very old. He often is the target of criticism regarding the age gap between him and the average Source member (the average age of members is ~15 years of age). The age gap has not hurt Fonzy, however, as he is an incredibly well liked and respected poster. Fonzy has also held his moderation position for longer then any other user on The Source
VA_Ninja: Sometimes called Van, VA_Ninja is a fan of furries. VA_Ninja was forced to leave The Source by his parents after an incident where Source patrons harrased his younger brother over AIM. He has since returned then, although his parents have not found out yet. Many people find VA_Ninja to often be very strange considering his social veiwpoints and unique sexual preferences, but his openess has led others to come to him for support with their problems.
Zindaras: Also going by Zindie, Zindaras is The Source's token cat-lover. Rumored to have every cat related picture on the internet, Zindaras often likes using them when a thread calls for it. Zindaras is known for being both fun and/or stern depending on a situation's needs. Zindaras is lso the author of Gleemax's Revenge, a comical story starring members from both The Source and WotC message boards. Currently the story has faded from public eye until a massive update planned in the near future arrives.
Jenius: The newest moderator to The Source, Jenius was quick to make a name for himself after a period of lurking. Jenius is often found debating with other forumites over matters ranging from the trivial to national issues. Jenius is also sometimes reffered to as Jenny, but he shows an incredibly apparent dislike to this nickname. Also a superior StarCraft player, Jenius prides himself on being second only to Zerg0nator on The Source.
