Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Prue and Piper give in to their fears that the men in their lives may be Warlocks and cast a mind-reading spell to find out the truth. Meanwhile, a group of brain-zapping Warlocks called The Collectors are after Eric, who has translated ancient tablets that contain all historical events in the past and future. Eric destroys the actual stone tablets, storing the knowledge to his own mind and becoming prey to the Collectors, who want the power of the tablets. Using Eric's father as bait, the Collectors lure Eric to them and zap Phoebe when she tries to help out. Prue and Piper use their ability to read each others' minds and trick the Warlocks into zapping each other right out of existence. Luckily, Prue and Piper learn their recent flames are not Warlocks, although Jack has been playing tricks on Prue with his twin brother. Piper takes a romantic leap of faith and heads off for the weekend with Dan.

  • The Collectors: There is a breed of warlock known as Collectors that seek out information. Each warlock has a sharp finger that drains knowledge out of people's brains. There is no specific way to vanquish them, but their hunger for knowledge is your ally.

  • To Hear Secret Thoughts: Light a blue candle and chant: As flame light shadow and truth ends fear, open locked thoughts to my mind’s willing ear. May the smoke from this candle into everywhere creep. Bringing innermost voices to my mind in speech.

  • The episode title is probably a reference to the phrase "They're here." from the film Poltergeist.
  • Prue learns that Jack has an identical twin in this episode.
  • When Prue hangs up on Jack, he gets a dial tone on his cell phone. Cell phones don't have dial tones.
  • In this episode, Phoebe says warlocks can't bleed, although Jeremy bled because of the thorns cast upon him in Something Wicca This Way Comes. And the warlock in the painting also bled.
  • This is the second time Prue and Piper tag-teamed against warlocks. Piper freezes the warlocks, and Prue moves them into each other, then Piper unfreezes them, causing them to vanquish each other. The first was in Wicca Envy.
  • Piper and Prue both cast a spell to read people's mind so they can tell if Dan and Jack are warlocks.
  • This is the first time we see Piper selectively unfreeze a room. It was hinted at in "Deja Vu All Over Again" and "Morality Bites" but this is the first time we see her hands moving and the room unfreezing. Speculation: In " Deja Vu All Over Again" when Phoebe tells Piper to unfreeze Joanne she may have meant to wait for her to unfreeze.
