Thermos may mean a number of things:

  • Thermos is the commonly used generic name for a domestic vacuum flask. It was originally the brand name of a range of vacuum flasks first manufactured for commercial use in 1904 by Thermos GmbH.
  • Thermos is an ancient Greek city, the capital city of the Aetolian League ;
  • Thermos was in the 70s a project of using a small 50-100 MW nuclear reactor for the urban heating of Grenoble, France. It was promoted by CEA and Technicatome.
