There Will be No Leave Today (in America) (aka Sevodnya Uvolneniya Ne Budet) is a Soviet film made in 1959 by Russian director Andrei Tarkovsky. The film was codirected by Aleksandr Gordon, and is about members of the Soviet army during a time of peace. The film is noted as being uncharacteristic of Tarkovsky's usual style. It was the last of three shorts he made while a student at the Soviet film school VGIK.
