Theological Education Institute

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Founded in 1990 by Rev. John C. Rankin.

John hosts the Mars Hill Forum series on university campuses and other venues nationwide where he interacts with lead skeptics of his biblical faith. He preaches in churches, and likewise teaches the Love of Hard Questions Seminar and the Only Genesis Seminar. He has developed and taught portions of an eight-course TEI Curriculum. These classes are 15-hours each, and designed to bring the fruit of a seminary education to the grass roots of the church.

John's vision for the TEI includes political initiatives which seek to serve religious, political and economic liberty for all people; building the TEI into an undergraduate university; strategic initiatives in media; an alternative to health insurance; and a professional orchestra through which to bring the best of classical worship music to society at large.
