Theodore Dwight (author)

Theodore Dwight (3 March 1796-16 October 1866) was an American author, born in Hartford, Connecticut, the son of Theodore Dwight, (1764-1846). He graduated from Yale in 1814 and devoted himself to editorial work on various papers and magazines, besides taking an active interest in the work of Sunday schools. He died in Jersey City, N.J.
