Thecadactylus rapicaudus is a species of gecko found in South and Central America and parts of the Caribbean.

Adults have a body length about 4 inchs and a total length of about 6 inches. They are noctural in nature and frequently found 5-30 feet up the trunks of palm trees.

These include the phyllostomid bat Choropterus auritus

They include the malarial parasite Plasmodium aurulentum.
